Dubai-Salalah flights take off as Oman Air expands to 49 destinations
Five new routes strengthen tourism and trade links
DUBAI – Oman Air has marked a major milestone in its network expansion with the launch of five new routes in July 2026, headlined by its first-ever direct service between Dubai and Salalah.
The expansion also introduces flights to Singapore, Sochi, Tashkent and Abu Dhabi, taking the airline's network to 49 destinations.

The new services are aimed at strengthening Oman’s links with key regional and international markets while offering passengers more travel options throughout the year.
Dubai-Salah flight
The new Dubai-Salalah route began on July 3 and operates three times a week throughout the year. The service enhances connectivity between the UAE and Oman’s Dhofar Governorate, providing easier access for residents, tourists and business travellers, particularly during the popular khareef season when Salalah attracts visitors from across the Gulf.
Alongside the Dubai service, Oman Air also launched flights to Tashkent today, following the start of direct services to Singapore and Sochi. Daily flights to Abu Dhabi are scheduled to begin on July 9, completing the carrier’s five-route expansion for the month.

The expansion continues Oman Air’s growth strategy over the past 18 months. Since joining the oneworld Alliance in June 2025, the airline has introduced scheduled services to Amsterdam, Rome and Taif, alongside charter flights to Hanoi and Moscow.
Chief Executive Officer Con Korfiatis described the launch of five routes in a single month as a defining moment for the airline, saying it reflects Oman Air’s ambition to connect the Sultanate with more destinations while supporting tourism, trade and investment under Oman Vision 2040.
The new schedule offers four weekly flights to Singapore, two weekly flights to Tashkent, one weekly service to Sochi, three weekly flights between Dubai and Salalah, and daily services to Abu Dhabi. Oman Air said the additions are designed to meet growing travel demand while strengthening regional and international connectivity through its expanding network.
